Some of my Favorite Things.........

It has been way too long since my last post......Ooops!  With the holiday excitement over, I've been a little blue. It didn't help becoming ill just after Christmas.....all better now! My creative juices are flowing again thank goodness. There will be some creations in my next post, not quite ready now. I have wanted to share some pics from around my house of.... you guessed it, some of my Favorite Things. The first pic is a little chalkware couple I absolutely adore & will take to my grave. Lol!! Next are photos of my beloved Blue Bird China dishes & a few other Blue Bird goodies. The next three photos are of collections of various trinkets that I have not been able to resist during my outings searching for those special yesteryear leftovers. My whole house is filled with sweet bits of the past. I feel so fortunate to have these treasures in my everyday life here in the present.
Blessings, Raylene

  1. Hi Raylene! It was nice to see you this week! And so nice to see you blogging! I really enjoyed the tour of your favorite things! That chalkware couple is absolutely adorable. I'm not familiar with chalkware...you may have to educate me! The bluebird dishes are super sweet too and I love all of your pink! Glad to hear you're back into the swing of things...I was in a slump after Christmas too. It's always a bit of a letdown after all of the excitement and hype! Hope to see you again soon!
    Best Wishes,
    Amanda

  3. Raylene, tickled to have you drop by. How sweet are the bluebird dishes. You must have a spring luncheon and use those beautiful dishes. I love your Christmas tree too. Next year I decided I wanted to spray a lot of white snow on my tree. Love the flocked trees. Happy week.

  5. Thanks so much for coming by & peeking at my blog! Curious if your blue bird print is by Adelaide Heibel or Zulu Kenyon? The ones i have are stored (not at home)....they are actual original calendars from 1937 in mint condition - so i would be afraid to show them to the light. Honestly, i keep everything out in the open to use and adore - there are a few items i just cannot do that with...These being one of them.
